First Day of School Signs-Free Printables
My baby started preschool! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!? I remember him being a little smiley-faced boy trying to stand on his own like it was yesterday. Being a stay-at-home mama has its own set of challenges especially when your second half works away. BUT, looking back, I would NEVER EVER EVER give any of those moments up for anything in the world. I have been so blessed to witness every special moment and be able to teach all of those valuable life skills to him! Being a parent is so bitter-sweet! It ranges from being excited to see your child flourish and become who they are meant to be while also wanting them to stay little and cuddly forever. UGH it get me every time!!!
So, of course, I couldn’t let a milestone like this go by without making sure I had a couple amazing photos of my boy with his current stats. I adjusted the printable that I made and added some more colour options so that you can edit to your liking. Canva.com is a great online tool for this; just upload the file as a picture (screenshot or snip it into a picture file) and design away! If you are looking for a neat font, I tend to find fun ones on the Dafont site. Guys, these things cost $20 or more if you get someone to design it for you on Etsy and you still need to get it printed! That’s just a whole bucket of crazy right there! DIY for the win!

I also decided that Pinterest was seriously lacking in simple and cute first day of school signs so I made some of those too. Look at me go! Ha! My graphic designing skills are still sub-par BUT at least I managed to make them colourful! I was thinking of making a girly flowery sign and eventually do “last day of school” signs as well. Good idea?

All of these cute printables are in PDF format on 8.5 x 11-inch paper. If you want the colour to POP, make sure to print it on matte photo paper. I printed mine on plain card stock and it worked out just fine though. Enjoy!
